Well girls, it sure is a busy time. Your project at the moment is essentially your Science Fair Project. So far, I am impressed with the work that is being done. We are rally starting to get into the experiments this week. Remember, keep working on your good copies and proofread everything.
Also, we have had some great presentations. Take for example, Nectarines presentation on the important topic of sugar. We also had some excellent discussion points afterwards, like the importance of a healthy diet. Icequeen, got us all thinking about why we do clinical testing with mice and if those tests are valid. We talked about the similarities of a mouse anatomy and that of a human. I am always so impressed with the caliber of thinking that goes on in my class.

Happy New Year, parents and students. We have hit the ground running, with a new Social Studies project to get cracking on right away (Due: Friday, 20th January). On top of that, the Science Fair will be upon us before we know it, so the girls need to finalise their science question, by Monday (16th January).
Also, next week we are starting our research subject presentations. The subjects are:
- This week in history (Monday)
- Journalist (Tuesday)
- Poem (Wednesday)
- Famous Quote (Thursday)
- Lesson (Friday)
Like last year, each girl will present a subject every two weeks (Present one week and have the second week off). We will rotate through the subjects, so that each girl will cover each subject area.
